EMPIRE

“But For What’s My Axis” is a multidisciplinary collaboration between visual artist Kara Rooney and composer Fatrin Krajka. Through the development of three performative works that include live instrumentation, recorded material, movement, objects and operatic verse. The three movements serve as metaphors for our social, emotional and psychological conditions. The element of language through operatic verse acts a thread while its meaning unfolds throughout the three movements to shed light into our social collective history and what culturally, politically and personally has brought us here.
